We're going on a bear hunt (Remix)

We came up with this whilst trekking....

We’re going on a bear hunt,

We’re going to catch a Himalayan mountain bear,

We’re not scared (or prepared)!

Uh-Oh! A bamboo jungle!

Can’t go over it, can’t go under it,

We’ll just have to go through it (and make some walking sticks whilst we’re here)!

Stumble-trip, stumble trip!

We’re going on a bear hunt

We’re going to catch a Sloth bear

We’re not scared (or prepared)!

Uh-Oh!  A hail storm!

We can’t go under it and we can’t go over it and we can’t really go through it

So we’ll have to sit in a tea shop and wait for it to finish!

Bang-bang-bang-bang (on a tin roof)!

We’re going on a bear hunt

We’re going to catch a black bear,

We’re not scared (or prepared)!

Uh-Oh!  A raging mountain stream!

We can’t go under it and we shouldn’t go through it as we don’t have waterproofs

So we’ll just have to jump over it!

Splashity-splash! Splashity-splash!

We’re going on a bear hunt

We’re going to catch a red panda

We’re not scared (or prepared)!

Uh-Oh!  A cute shivery puppy lost in the storm!

We can’t leave it behind

So we’ll have to take it with us!

Yippety-yap, yippety-yap!

We’re going on a bear hunt

We’re going to catch a tiger (we’ve run out of native bear species)

We’re not scared (or prepared)!

Uh-Oh!  Kanchenjunga!

Can’t go over it (it’s a holy mountain); can’t go under it!

We’ll just have to climb round

Pant, pant, pant, pant! Whinge, whinge whinge! How much further?

We’re going to catch a leopard cat

We’re not scared (or prepared)!

Uh-Oh! A Tibetan Buddhist Monastery

We can’t go round it

We’ll have to go in to turn the prayer wheels!

Clang-clang-clang-clang

We’re going on a Bear hunt,

We’re going to catch a clouded leopard

We’re not scared (or prepared)!

Uh-oh!  A land fall!

Can’t go over it, can’t go under it,

We’ll just have to climb round it very carefully!

Smash, smash, smash (watch out for your heads!  Another boulder’s falling!) CRASH!

We’re not scared (or prepared)

Uh-oh!  What’s that?

1 wet nose, 2 shaggy ears, 1 fluffy tail –

IT’S JANAKI THE PUPPY!

Quick she’s chasing us and she’s going to LICK YOU -

Smash, smash, smash, CRASH!

Clang, clang, clang

Pant, pant, pant, whinge, whinge, whinge, ARE WE NEARLY THERE?

Yippety-yap, yippety-yap
