Holly and Max* are delighted to announce the birth of their son, Bobeeno Tuff Witt. He was born yesterday, the 31st January 2011 at 5 pm at home in Delhi, labour having commenced on the aeroplane. He weighed 50g and is a healthy boy, who looks entirely like his father (i.e. the monkey lineage is strong). Max was an excellent birth partner and WM provided obstetric care. The family are doing well and would like to thank everyone for their good wishes.L's account of proceedings: The birth was quick but very noiusy and it was a painful labour. Max carlmed her down and mum gave her pain relief. I made a birth bed for Holly and Max. We had a party with all the play mobile and lego and sylvanieons. Max wore a plactic bag over his head (his dinosaur suit apparently) and Holly lay in blankits. Becoming a mother is quite distressing for Holly but she is enjoying it.
*Holly is L’s cuddly rabbit, Max is W’s cuddly monkey for anyone who remains unsure.
